Showtime! (3/29/09)

As I headed into rehearsal on Sunday I noticed the marquee had been changed. It made me excited and proud and nervous all at the same time!

A New Family

My daughter loves these figures at our mall and was dancing and holding hands with them while we fed the baby today. It was kinda scary, kinda cute!

Coalhouse (3/23/09)

This is our stage manager showing off the Cabbage Patch Newborn that will be "playing" my adopted son, Coalhouse Walker, III in "Ragtime." We were all so excited to meet him.

The Golden Arch (3/22/09)

We came across this old-fashioned McDonald's arch on our drive home from Lancaster .

I liked it because it is such a throw-back.

Slippery Saturday

We spent the day at an indoor water park in Lancaster. It was really nice and there was lots for the kids to do. This was one of my favorite shots with my daughter looking out over the whole place.

Who's that Masked Man?

My kids with the crazy masks my mom bought for them to paint. My son's is a monkey, but after he covered it in every color of paint we own, it was kind of hard to tell.

BABY!!!!!!(3/19/09)

This is a freaky doll that is floating around the theatre where I am currently rehearsing for a show. The joke is that you never know where it might end up. It's hard to tell in this picture, but the baby is actually in one of the stage curtains about 6 feet off the ground.

Accidents Happen

This was the scene out back of my house this morning. A car had missed the curve and gone straight into a utility pole. The top half of the pole and the wires were actually sitting on the roof of the car. My neighbor said the driver was injured pretty badly. Scary sight!

Happy Foot!

This is a billboard in town that I think is sort of creepy. I hate the smiley toe. It's just weird!

Walking (3/11/09)

I love to take pictures of my kids walking - either alone or with a family member. I just always think it's a cute and different perspective. I love how my daughter is carrying her backpack and a whole array of characters on this particular walk around our neighborhood.

Red, White & Blue (3/10/09)

This is painted along the side of a building in Downtown York. My son noticed it before I did and thought it would make a great picture for my blog. I agreed!

Something Fishy (3/9/09)

I took this at the theatre where I am rehearsing for a show. The tank is brand new and so clean and bright and the fish were looking right at me! There were lots of things I could have taken pictures of, but I really liked these guys.

HIking

Today my husband took the kids to a local state park. I gave him the camera today and told him he was on blog duty. He took some really interesting pics. This tree stump looks like it has a face. The other shot is of my daughter looking at the lake. So pretty.

Cruisin'

The kids enjoyed one of the first warm days we've had in months by taking a ride in Grandma's convertible. They waved and smiled the entire way from the restaurant to the apartment. It was really cute.

Birdy's Back (3/6/09)

The birds are building nests under our deck but seem to meet up on top before heading to work. The whole thing is very interesting to me.

In Like A Lion...

My son's theme in preschool this week was "March - In Like A Lion...Out Like a Lamb." They made these lion puppets which my son was thrilled with. Too cute.

Snowy Wednesday

This is a creek we pass on our Baltimore trips and I thought it looked so pretty all covered in snow. Also if you look closely toward the left is a tree that's completly bent over. It looks really cool up close.

Wed. - Feb 25

This is a factory we pass on the way to and from Baltimore. My son calls it the Wonka factory and asks everytime we pass it when we can go in for a tour. I keep telling him he needs a golden ticket!

Feb. 23 - Funny Face

This stunning picture is my mom modeling her new sunglasses at lunch. Even the baby thought this was funny!

Sunday Fish

This is sort of a inside joke in our family, but it made me laugh so hard that it just had to be today's picture. A few years ago when we were headed to Hoss's for dinner my husband said he'd probably just get the fish sandwich and my stunning reply was, "That sandwich is huge! It's as big as a real fish..." I still get made fun of for that one and now and even bigger fish sandwich is on the way! It's too much!
